Like that fruitbag has ever been within 100 yards of a basketball court in his life.

Well, that phony tactic sure backfired. Calling hoops "rings" is a damn nice way to inform hoosiers that you're NOT one of them.

Wonder if Cruz had ever even seen a basketball hoop before that speech.

This plus Bobby Knight's Trump endorsement dooms Cruz in Indiana. Oh wait, Cruz was already doomed in Indiana.

Don't be silly. Nobody was there to listen to Cruz talk sports. They were waiting for him to parade his tits.

He's from Canada; I'm surprised he didn't fuck up by calling it netball.

"In Indiana and our other 56 states, it's called a hoop, Ted."

Imagine how confused he'd really get if the players are referred to as cagers.

"Senator Cruz, what do you think of Indiana's big men this year?"
"Well, obesity is a big problem in America ..."

Whether you like to shoot rings in Indiana, are a Minnesotan born with a hockey bat in your hand or just love to watch those Alabama boys pitch around the hog hide, Ted Cruz is truly a man of the people.

WASHINGTON - The NBA champion Golden State Warriors visited the White House on Tuesday, presenting President Ted Cruz with a jersey.

"Your team, while it represents a liberal city, still was able to dominate your league," President Cruz said. "Steph Curry was such a great leader for you, putting that ball through the ring night after night."
