Was thinking the same thing while looking at her speech in Cleveland. She outlined the issues and offered her solutions. Compare and contrast with Trump patting himself on the back via Twitter on Sunday.

 

Does her speech jibe with what she did as SoS?

This president has killed more terrorists than anyone in history but I sure wish he'd TALK TOUGH because that's obviously what matters here.

 

This is genuinely one of those situations where I'm not sure what else could have been done, short of installing metal detectors at every public facility. He was an American citizen, born and raised here. The FBI investigated the guy based on his comments, but there was really nothing to hold him on. He didn't travel to the Middle East. He didn't have connections to ISIS. You're right. Trump's stance really seems to be, "We should yell at them more."

Of course, it's not as stupid as him saying the President is a terrorist sympathizer earlier today.
