The Christian liberals I know are your bleeding heart-type folks.
Organizing a lot of outreach through the church.
You know, actually helping actual people.

 

Do the conservatives who go to your church help anyone, or are they just there for the wine and/or happening music?

 

Our pastor is gay. We don't really have any conservatives.

 

Nobody is asserting that conservatism (at least in many of its forms) is incompatible with Christianity.

 

Are they not welcome?

 

Everyone is most certainly welcome.

For some strange reason, conservatives seem to have a problem with a gay pastor.

And his husband.

Who's "coming around?" Just stating a fact. Trump's ceiling was supposedly about 37% of Republicans. Now he's at 37% of the general electorate. You don't think there's a difference?
