Fine. Ban Muslims from immigrating here. Now you've stopped ... no terrorist attacks since 9/11.

What other bright ideas do you have?

John Lewis used to sit-in to protect civil rights. Now he sits in to deny them.

The use of a Niqab became an issue up here during the last federal election. Personally I would rather women not wear it because I think that if you want to be part of this society you should conform to some socieltal norms, like showing your face.

No problem with Hijabs, nuns habits, turbans, Hutterite clothes, Amish wear etc, or any of the long skirts and overshirts those Duggar types wear.

No long-haired hippies, either. Or Afros.

    Hipster beards can go too.

    C'mon.

The burqa is forced on women. When Muslim men choose to wear a burqa alongside their wives, I'll be fine with them.

Otherwise, this is no different than supporting Warren Jeffs forcing teenage girls into polygamous marriages with old men of his choosing.

I'm going to need clarification on the difference between a beard and a "hipster" beard before I can support this legislation. Asking for a friend.

Wouldn't Amish or Hutterite clothing for females be considered oppressive?

Haven't given it a ton of thought too be honest. I view the clothes they wear as a type of uniform, men don't have lots of options either.

Sikhs men cover their hair, don't think that is oppressive.

The Niqab issue I see as being part of society. Want to interact outside the house, show your face.
