I was just going to post that I will do more reading on it. I'll Google, as you suggested.

Perhaps she did break the law, and I'm not aware.

I'll read more about it. Happy to.

Please remember this is a message board. BTW, any updates on the planned FBI riot?

The owners of the media: the CEOs, board chairmen, publishers, etc etc, are overwhelmingly rich right wingers. They write the checks, issue the memos and do the firing.

So zero response to the actual content of the article, written by a CIA operative from the Bush Administration, just whining about liberal media.

I know it's easy to pretend all 1.6 billion Muslims on earth are the same, but that's not how the real world works, and not a particularly smart way to combat "Radical Islam." I'm sorry if adults trying to sort through the complexities of a huge religious sect offends you. Better to "talk tough."

"Afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted."

Kinda goes against the conservative credo of "every man for himself."

Perhaps, overall, but I know plenty of conservatives in the business, including many at the better jobs. And if overall more individuals in journalism are left of center, it's more than balanced out by the fact that the publishers who control the purse strings, the hiring and editorial bent are generally more conservative.

The left can say what its goals are. But when it's not boiled down to a one- or two-word slogan, they get accused by the right of talking down to the public.

This "slogan" is everything I hate about journalism all wrapped up with a bow.
