    1. Man who is not a member of the Democratic Party wants to run for president.

    2. Because running as an independent is impossible, man wants to run in Democratic primary.

    3. Man does better than almost anyone expects.

    4. Party Democrats who have spent essentially their entire careers being Democrats and supporting Democratic candidates (raising money for them; organizing GOTV campaigns for them; working on behalf of Democratic voters causes) show private support for the candidate who is a Democrat, a woman. Some of that private support is bigoted and shitty, but no evidence exists (at all) that any rules were broken or election was "rigged"

    5. Man ultimately does not get enough votes as an Independent running in the Democratic primary to get the nomination

    6. People who started paying attention to politics five minutes ago decide this is the biggest disenfranchisement in history and vow, instead of voting for a candidate whom their man endorsed, to vote for someone who is the antithesis of all they claim to support. Instead of working to elect more candidates like the man they support, people who could make changes as the grassroots level that would truly help improve the lives of people they claim to support, an epic tantrum ensues in which they insist the world should burn if they do not receive what they want. Like, right now.

It all makes sense when you look at it logically.

I think it's a four-run, grand slam home run of a slogan myself.

I don't know. The Hillary/Bernie alliance definitely gives off an air of being united but not together, or together but not united.

Let's be honest about this for a minute.

He's always caucused with the Dems, and they've always given him committee assignments.

In 2006, Bernie ran in, and won, the Dem nomination for Senate. He then declined the nomination, leaving the Dems without anyone on their line. The State Dem committee unanimously endorsed Bernie.

In 2012, Dems didn't recruit anyone to run against him, and endorsed Bernie's bid.

So, while he may not have technically been a Dem, it's a difference, without a distinction.

Let's also remember that DWS famously couldn't define the difference between a Socialist and a Democrat:

It's ironic in that in Masaachusetts, one of the bluest of blue states, one of their most iconic structures is a green wall.

I can't count the number of Latin American immigrants who've gone over it, or at least sent baseballs over it.

That's not irony at all, of course, but don't tell anyone in Masaachuesittts.

And one of them crossed the barrier to piss on the other side, the ingrate.
