The thing is, I'm not even sure I can believe the fucking exit polls.

I know I can't believe the bullshit "Obama approval rating."

I heard somebody this morning remark that Hillary's negatives brought her down in a year when Obama "enjoys high approval ratings."

WTF ! Get real ! "Approval rating" polling means nothing.

Hillary's speech will probably go something like this.

I've got two months until I'm hauled off to re-education camp with the rest of the lugenpresse, so until then I'll decide for myself what I believe if it's all the same to you.

Well said. My feed is full of the crying kids too. I have a sharp, well-read 11-year-old daughter who, like her parents, favored Clinton as the better candidate and person. So this morning she asked who won, I told her, and there were no friggin' tears. I said the people spoke, and Clinton didn't do a good enough job on her end. Now get dressed and go to school. The sun came up.

The day after a loss, especially an unexpected one, is always the worst for people. I'm very depressed, but the shock has worn off. By Friday, I'll be "where do we go from here." For Democrats, this is a tough question because nobody is quite sure where Trump goes from here.

Trump's "punish women" comment was the result of a guy who'd not really thought through the issue being asked a question he unprepared for by Chris Matthews, who led him down a path where it seemed like the logical answer.

Now, that' snot a good thing. He should have known the issue better.

But, he immediately walked that back.

The pro-life movement has never been about "punishing the woman". Never, ever.

He did not run a racist campaign.

He did run a race that appealed to white working class voters -- which is a group Dems have long courted.

And, in a political landscape where one party gets 90+% of the African-American vote, and about 80% of the Hispanic vote, the other party needs to attract as many white voters as possible to win.

Trump did that, and he won.

And, now he needs to get to work on improving the county, to the benefit of all Americans.

Eh, unless you are Bush taking us into a hugely unpopular war, I don't think approval rating has much to do with policy or even job performance. Obama seems like a cool guy. Bush seemed like a cool guy before Iraq. Most of America doesn't approve of Hillary simply because they wouldn't want to hang out with her.

He ran a racist campaign. No slicing and dicing that, or excusing him as you've excused other stuff. Own it. Hopefully he'll do better.
