    I had a (drunk) emotional reaction when it became clear he would win. I did get over it fairly quickly. All of this whining, protesting and hashtag activism is pointless and stupid.

    Are you joking? He's the Republican president-elect. Opposition to gay marriage is in the party platform. He's on record being opposed to gay marriage. And his VP is the most vile, anti-gay bigot in politics.

    If you have gay people in your family or even know any gay people, you should be ashamed to even ask that question.
