Do the current residents of Benkelman want more minorities there? I've never been to Nebraska but if I had to bet a dollar I know which way I'd lean.

I used Benkelman as an example because it sounds funny, but I grew up in Lucas, Kan. The vast majority of people there were very accepting of any minority that moved to town when I was a kid. It's a lot different than the Deep South.

I'm sure Brooklyn is covered up with people who'd go to Benkelman if those dastardly Benkelmanians* would just open up that fence.

*Yes, I do think that's a great word.

Benkelmaniacs. Even if that isn't the right term it should be. Make it so Herr Trump!

I'm going to start on Monday, the better to have it handy to shove in the temple of anyone who starts bitching about the popular vote-electoral college disconnect,.

Honestly, after watching the KU-IU game last night I was in favor of moving the 3-point line back if not getting rid of it all together. So I get where Rick and Michael are coming from. ;)

The man from Benkelman's vote for the presidency counts 75% more than the man from Brooklyn. For the Senate, it is 1083% more.

I can't believe they changed those rules on her in the middle of the campaign.

Her strategy would have been totally different. She'd have had Lena Dunham in Benkelman every other weekend.
