    It's not so much the professional upside, it's the professional downside of having your boss on your ass because you haven't tweeted within the first five minutes of your arrival and corporate will throw a fit.

    If your boss requires something, eventually you have to deliver or you will lose that job.

    Does it really benefit the news organization enough to be worthwhile? I don't think so, but I tend to err on the side of getting it right at all costs.
