Where does it say personal bankruptcy? You're a fake news gaslighting faker.

A lot of people are in the same boat. Spending a large portion of their income on premiums, but unable to use their insurance because the deductible is too high for them.

    "after 'his' latest bankruptcy."

His. There's only one way to read that.

And, journalists are sharing this tale with their own dire warnings of what it means without even reaching out to Branson or Trump for comment.

Great. But, suckers will believe it.

FWIW, YF, I'm sorry to hear about your troubles insuring your daughter. It's got to be sickening to deal with the red tape when all you want is your little girl to get the care she needs and deserves.

I've said this before on here, but I benefited greatly from Obamacare while I was on my state's health exchange. I'm reasonably young and healthy, but didn't have much income after getting laid off and picking up two part-time jobs, so I probably would not have paid the premium to keep my COBRA coverage. With the health exchange available, I signed up for a plan that saved me several hundred dollars per month in premiums and, unfortunately, I happened to break my foot and got appendicitis during that year. Obamacare saved me tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills that I could not have afforded.

My experience with everything from signing up, choosing a plan, and claims was nothing short of outstanding. I think a lot of the good experience/bad experience tales come from differences in how states have embraced (or not) the ACA.

Right, but in my MIL's case, her hardship is due to being denied one part of the law (i.e. Medicaid expansion).

It was his bankruptcy. His business. Nobody thinks billionaires -- even possibly fake ones -- take personal bankruptcy.

YF, why isn't your daughter's specialist not a provider in exchange plans? Low reimbursement rates, plus a move towards "quality-driven" reimbursement vs. a fee-for-service model?

BTW, you could save a few bucks or two by bringing your own supplies for the doctors to use. ;)
