Did the poor babies get a quarter-inch of snow?

 

That's two nights in a row (Griz-Warrors) I've turned a game off and missed a great comeback.

 

This Steelers game isn't very competitive. Think I'll flip over to Carolina ... LOLNope

Is it too early to pronounce UVA in trouble for the tournament?

 

Make no mistake, the Wahoos are playing their worst basketball in four years right now. But they get zero respect from the refs, even at home. A top 15 team shooting 10 free throws in 105 minutes of basketball is insane.

And this Wake big man walks literally every time he touches the ball. But if Isaiah Wilkins drags his pivot foot half an inch, you better fucking believe they're blowing that whistle!

 

No conference/team suspension for Dylan Brooks. Ain't that a kick in the nuts.

 

A recurring pattern I've noticed over the years.

1. You post something indicating things are going as horrible as horrible can be for Virginia. They're playing abominably, everything's gone wrong, the refs are screwing us, they're all against Uva basketball....

2. Later I see the score of the game you're referencing and discover Uva actually won, and often quite easily.

For example, tonight's score: Virgina 79, Wake Forest 62. Who'd have imagined that from reading the above "sky is falling" description of the game?

 

I won't say I'm happy with my role as UVA's OOP, but it's my cross to bear.

 

We all have our bears to cross.
