    Rant Sports is a sweatshop, at least it was 3 years ago. They have heavy quotas and you get a share of the ad revenue. When I was talking with them, they said if you just met the quota, which was about 40 columns a month, you'd likely only make 50ish bucks per quarter.

    What level of basketball are we talking about here? Major conferences? Mid/low-majors? Division II or III?

    Never worked for them. Same weekend I got offered a freelance gig with a big paper, and a day later got a full time gig I'm now trying to ditch (and get an actual journalism job.)
