I would have in this case. Clear hold on the two-pointer. And I know the odds against an onside recovery, but I don't think Reid can kick deep at the end there. He had to know chances were they wouldn't get the ball back. And at that point, it didn't much matter whether Pittsburgh got the ball on its 15 or at midfield.

 

Perhaps, but it almost worked. Roethlisberger and Brown simply made a very good play or the Chiefs get the ball around midfield with nearly two minutes remaining.
