I love this. I absolutely love this. We finally have a guy in office who will be the ugly American that so many in this country are, thinking all Euros are just pinko socialists, Asians are just dorky little geeks who can be shoved around and apparently Australians can go second deck as well. President Kenny Fuckin' Powers, telling the World "I fuckin' rock and you fuckin' suck." If you had a guy on your block who screamed from his front porch daily that he was the best and richest and coolest guy in the neighborhood - when he wasn't trying to steal your beer and fuck your wife - you'd root for his house to burn down. Here, we give him the keys to Air Force One. I love it. And I'll love it even more when the missiles start flying at this place and these Squidbillies can't figure out why.

Also seeing reports on Twitter (yeah, I know, but the source is reliable) of 70 arrests at Ohio University over protests of the Muslim ban.

Before leaving the house for the first basketball game I covered after moving to Indiana, I jokingly asked my wife if the entire pre-game music soundtrack would be Mellencamp. An Indiana native, she scoffed and accused me of falling for a stereotype. The team took the floor to its fight song.

Then "R.O.C.K. In the U.S.A." blasted out of the speakers.

I nearly fell out of my chair laughing.

I want to send 70 burritos from the Burrito Buggy and 70 aquariums to the Athens Co. jail to fellow Bobcats.

The night of Game 1 of this year's Workd Series, we took our son to his first concert. It was, of course. Johnny Cougar, thereby fulfilling both my duty as a Hoosier and a White Sox fan with a single fell swoop.

Ok, I'm 23 pages behind at this point, and I want to go on and post this. If it's a d_b I'm sorry.

Exclusive - Trump to focus counter-extremism program solely on Islam: sources

"WASHINGTON/SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - The Trump administration wants to revamp and rename a U.S. government program designed to counter all violent ideologies so that it focuses solely on Islamist extremism, five people briefed on the matter told Reuters.

The program, "Countering Violent Extremism," or CVE, would be changed to "Countering Islamic Extremism" or "Countering Radical Islamic Extremism," the sources said, and would no longer target groups such as white supremacists who have also carried out bombings and shootings in the United States.

Such a change would reflect Trump's election campaign rhetoric and criticism of former President Barack Obama for being weak in the fight against Islamic State and for refusing to use the phrase "radical Islam" in describing it. Islamic State has claimed responsibility for attacks on civilians in several countries."

This description will have to be tweaked depending on age but for me (Class of 93) it is the reign of people who came back from vacation in Pigeon Forge or Panama City loaded up with Big Johnson merchandise and knockoff Simpsons T-shirts with crude sayings and wore them unironically for years.

This should help Dems win back the Senate in '18, and defeat Trump in '20:
