More than that, they've said repeatedly that they were going to repeal it, Trump pulled the ads for when the last ditch signup would end, and in general they have introduced tons of uncertainty. As a result not as many signed up as were expected. The insurance companies didn't get as many bodies as they expected, so instead of something approaching price stability we can expect yet another round of price increases.

    They'll blame Obama, of course.

It's so strange. Rush Limbaugh has assured @YankeeFan that Obamacare was crushing small businesses and represented a government takeover of one-sixth of the economy and we had to do whatever we could to get rid of it right away - even shutting down the government (and risking default while putting our credit rating on shaky ground) was just a necessary evil in order to eliminate this horribly corrupt law.

Yet suddenly it's going to take years for repeal and replacement?

@YankeeFan you would be the most infuriating roommate.
Me: Is it your turn to do the dishes?
You: BUT YOU DIDN'T CLEAN THE OVEN FOUR YEARS AGO!

Just a hunch, but it's unlikely someone from the Crusades was blackmailing Obama.

The longer they leave it in place and screw it up, the easier it will be to say "See, it wasn't working, we had to replace it!"

Neither Kurt, nor his friend, appear to know who the ban applies to:

    Great post.

So - how 'come when Republicans couldn't repeal Obamacare, you wanted to shut down the government and refuse to pay the bills until it was repealed .... but now that they can repeal Obamacare, you're happy to let them take a few years?

    Guy incognito-
It reminds me of when Tommy Gunn went apeshit in the bar because he felt Rocky was getting all the publicity.
That's where I see this going.
Trump is too vain for anyone to think he's not the one calling the plays.
Using Bannon to troll him has been ingenious.

You act like this is something that just started happening.

Nowhere does it say that his friend was stopped previously in the few days the recent ban lasted. However, it seems plausible that the friend is worried that future Trump restrictions (and you know they're coming in some form) will try to find some gambit to deny entry to naturalized citizens.
