I'm sure Chaffetz would have the same reaction to a Democratic administration being in the same pickle.

 

This is a president who is telling us one thing and doing something else and is planning on doing something even more frightening.

 

My God.

 

House Intelligence Committee chair Nunes, who was Trump transition team intelligence official, vows to investigate FBI to see why people got to know Flynn lied. This guy's got to be dumber than a fence post. There's a very good reason pols have given the FBI a wide berth ever since it was created. There might be transcripts of his own conversations with Flynn out there in the Deep State.

 

Emasculated VPs are a rare Russian delicacy.

 

Jason Chaffetz says House Oversight Committee will do nothing as Flynn's resignation solves the whole problem. Another genius. As has been noted by others, the proper Washington move in this case is to promise an investigation and then slow walk it until the world forgets. Now he's at the mercy of other shoes dropping.

 

Russia is not a friendly character on the world stage. And for this president to not have to answer to the American people in his relations with Russia is very, very troubling, very alarming.

 

So much of this comes back to the original sin of Trump not fully disclosing financial information so potential conflicts of interests may be examined.

 

Flynn was the one who led the "Lock Her Up!" chant at the cult worship session this summer, right?
