Pence is the safest man in Washington these days. If there's no VPOTUS and if Trump is also tossed before a new VPOTUS is confirmed, then Ryan becomes POTUS. And the Freedom Caucus ain't having that.

Another brain surgeon. He's basically telling voters the only way to put any check on Trump is to vote us out and Democrats in. He's also bragging about a cover-up when he doesn't know yet what's being covered up. That's a foolish risk.

 

Short of personal scandal, he'll be senator for life. He's risking nothing.
