That's exactly what today was for Trump. The FBI director admitted they've been trying since July to prove there was collusion and can't. JULY! Obviously, there's nothing there and it's a nothing burger so Trump won the day.

Also, he personally led the investigation that recovered Tom Brady's jersey for his BFF Robert Kraft. And he shot a 66 yesterday. He won the whole weekend!
