Interesting how CNN assigned actual reporters to all of the Hernandez coverage, instead of those stupes at BleacherReport.

Wow. Even @YankeeFan is amazed at the pretzel-twisting required to get to that conclusion.

ESPN anchor rips Pats for White House visit after Hernandez suicide

Bob Ley thinks Pats should have cancelled WH visit bc of Hernandez suicide. Um, no. This selfish asshole has already fucked up enough people's lives. And now, what, they're supposed to skip an event that is months in the planning bc of another selfish act by him? Fuck that.

Instead of the traditional "1 Trump" or "45 Trump" jersey, would love to see someone present him with an "81 Hernandez" instead.

If this had been a beloved former teammate, perhaps the team would have cancelled. If it didn't bother the Pats (i.e., Brady, the Hoodie and Kraft), who is anyone else to say? And Ley saying that the suicide and this WH visit will forever be linked is a little heavy. This day isn't exactly 30-for-30 material in terms of monumental.

Pay no attention to the first trial as well.

Good lord. He was hanging by his bedsheet in a single-bunk cell with his furniture pushed up against the cell door. Jimmy McNulty couldn't make that a murder.
