I don't think he is. At all. If you gave both five years of starting, I think Moore would have been better.

But Tannehill may improve as he gets older. He's certainly logged the seasons. As of right now, he's Elvis Grbac.

He can't throw short or medium range. It's funny to watch him try. But he has legitimate playmaking skills when things break down, and he doesn't turn the ball over. Hell, with a top-five defense, that's a borderline playoff QB.

Jets? By a bit over McCown, but not a ton, and he'd have to start there, for the Jets, where the media would be on him daily. I can see the Jets passing. The Jets are enough of a yearly shitshow.

49ers? The Niners were going to cut him because of the contract, but he structured his deal so he could opt out first. Niners don't count.

Bears? I agree. He's better than Glennon.

Browns? I dunno about that. I guess we'll see what Osweiler does this year.

Texans? I could see Kaepernick end up there, in fact, to give Watson a year to season.

Rams? Not giving up on Goff. It'd be nuts to do so.

If you think Kaepernick isn't better than Osweiler (or that it's even close), you haven't been watching.

There may be something salvageable in Osweiler. I guess we'll find out.

I'm not real high on Kaepernick. That should be obvious. The thing with the anthem doesn't mean anything to me. I don't want a guy sitting back there taking an shitload of sacks because he can't get to the 2nd or 3rd read fast enough.

But, in fairness to him, this is true of several QBs in the league. They're just on their first contracts.

Ok enough. Osweiller? A team was GIVEN a 2nd round pick to take him off their hands.

Osweiler is a monument to NFL scouts becoming enamored with someone who looks like a QB to the point where they ignore the fact that he can't play.

He was mediocre at ASU and still parlayed that into millions in the NFL. I'm guessing he never sees the field in Cleveland. They have three other quarterbacks I'd play ahead of him, and I'm not convinced any of the three can play.

    But hey, he's tall.

Yeah, but that's just because money.

Like walking away from a house you're $150,000 underwater on.

What does this have to do with more cuts at ESPN?

It has as much to do with it as Caitlyn Jenner does.

  11. He could probably be a sports editor or NFL beat writer somewhere.... opps, forgot... there aren't many of those around any more and, in many areas, they are so young that weren't alive when like the 30th Super Bowl was played... but they can text and press buttons on an iphone with the best of them. Peck away.
