We're not talking about a massively successful international business mogul. We're talking about an incompetent clown who already face-planted in multiple bankruptcies.

Plus, Obama is intelligent, while Fucko is a fucking moron.

    Haven't tuned in all day.

You don't think this is important?

The media has a responsibility. The Times more than others. If they're going to use anonymous sources to try to take down a president, they have to get it right. And, they should back up what's told to them with actual reporting, and not just serve as stenographers for the writers of false narratives.

And then, when the WH pushed back against the story, instead of doing further reporting, the entire media used the pushback as evidence that the story was true.

It's a disgrace, and it calls all of the reporting on this story into question.

What other stories have these same sources contributed to? What is the Times process for verifying what they report?

It's important. It's not particularly compelling today.

What else did we learn that was new today.

Trump acted like Trump, which is to say he acted inappropriately, but not illegally.

The worst thing Trump did was to "hope" that Comey could see his way to letting the Flynn investigation go. It's not the kind of thing he should have done, but he never took a single step to try and shut down the broader investigation, let alone apply further pressure on Comey to drop the Flynn investigation.

The big thesis of this whole investigation is the idea that there was collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians. The evidence for this was the Times article pointing to repeated contact between the two. We now know this was not true.

That -- and John McCain downward spiral into senility -- is the news of the day.

So was McCain suggesting that Hillary worked with the Russians to help her lose the election? Did I interpret that correctly?

Listening to this sleezy-sounding attorney. This is nonsense. Recounting YOUR conversations with the president, while you are a private citizen, after the president fired you and then smeered you is not "leaking." It is recounting conversations you were a part of.

Also, how can you take this tact with a straight face. If Comey "leaked" his conversations then, Trump is an even bigger "leaker," because on twitter and in interviews he "leaked" discussions with Comey (and likely made up shit and lied about it).

    This is such BS.

Is this really going to be Trump's defense? He leaked privliged info? Time to stock up on popcorn again ... or hard liquor.

See, I'm pretty sure we couldn't have found out he acted illegally because I don't think legality enters into it. If he answers for it politically, it'll be because of the wildly inappropriate nature of it.

What we really learned -- as if we needed to -- is that Trump has absolutely no fucking idea what he's doing. None.
