    When my wife drives, she has the top 40 station on. It's all shit to me. Can't recall a single song I've heard on it that I consider rock. It gives me a headache and I ask her to turn it down. Old at 36.

    This is true. Even back in the early '70s when I got turned on to both, there was only one record featuring Christian, a collection of his work with the Benny Goodman Sextet, which was a pretty strong band to say the least. I can't find it anywhere, probably because I forgot the title.

    We have a dot upstairs and a full Alexa downstairs. The speaker quality is much, much better with the full Alexa.

    That was most likely "Charlie Christian: Best of the Goodman Small Group Sessions". Try his "Remastered Collection, Vols. 1-3", too. I'm on Napster (what used to be Rhapsody before they bought the rights to that name) and it is wonderful to have 97% of any music I can think of at my fingertips.
