That's fascinating and fairly convincing. My biggest question is if we had a spy take this picture, what did our government do next? Was there any attempt to bring them home?

Don't tell me the Japanese turned her during captivity and she taught them how to crash planes into the sea.

  5. This is garbage. A ratings grab attempt at best.

Over the last few years there has been evidence indicating they crashed on a remote island around Nikumaroro, hundreds of miles off course. Both survived the crash, though Noonan was gravely injured. Earhart died from starvation a few weeks later.
Researchers have found bits of evidence - a hell of a lot more than a crappy photograph - and have been back several times for additional, concrete remains and remnants.
They have found bones, plane parts - which match Earhart's aircraft - and personal items that can be traced to Noonan. No smoking gun yet, but It's a hell of a lot more than that photograph.

Now if it were Jimmy Hoffa or Brooks Melchior...

Jimmy Hoffa has the organized crime connection, which I think makes his disappearance more interesting.
But I think I see less stuff on networks or online about Hoffa than I do Earhart.

I don't know Brooks Melchior. Is he missing too?
