We are coming up on the anniversary of the 4 Ordinances that began the July 1830 revolution in France by King Charles X also known as Charles the Simple. Substitute Senators for Deputies and FoxNews for Moniteur and Regulations for Ordinances and you can see Where King Donald the Simple is headed.

July Ordinances, also known as the Four Ordinances of Saint-Cloud, were a series of decrees set forth by Charles X and Jules Armand de Polignac, the chief minister, in July 1830.

Compelled by what he felt to be a growing, manipulative radicalism in the elected government, Charles felt that as king by right of birth, his primary duty was the guarantee of order and happiness in France and its people; not in political bipartisanship and the self-interpreted rights of implacable political enemies.

The result was that on 9 July 1830, Charles announced that in his interpretation of, and in full compliance with, Article 14 of the Charter of 1814, he would henceforth govern by ordonnances. On 25 July, while a guest at Saint-Cloud, he signed the famous "July Ordinances" which were published in the Parisian newspaper Moniteur the following day.

    The ordinances of 26 July:

    • Suspended the liberty of the press
    • Appointed new, reactionary Councillors of State
    • Dissolved the newly elected Chamber of Deputies of France
    • Reduced the number of deputies in future Chambers
    • Summoned new electoral colleges for September of that year
    • Withdrew the Deputies' right of amendment
    • Excluded the commercial middle-class from future elections[1]

Except the response of the trumpeters (including his spokesmen official and unofficial) is always "Look at what Bill did, Look at what Hillary did, Podesta..." They ran on "we are better then them" and now its " they did it, so we can too"

He's probably looking for a way to get paid for staying at the Hilton or Ritz-Carlton.

I'm surprised Ivanaka Trump Kushner hasn't proposed The Trump Hotel Resort and Conference Centers at Dachau and Triblinka just so Trump can bill the government for putting him up at his own properties.

Do you really think everyone at the summit was talking about Podesta?
It's another red herring by Trump. Distract, deflect, degrade, rinse, repeat, blah blah blah ...

Speaking of poor reporting, I want more details on the Saudi king's deal. Are the camels housed in the hotel rooms? Like a guest room? Or does he keep them at a stable nearby? And that golden escalator - what if there's not a space for it? Does he have a golden elevator if there's no escalator space? Is he the only one that can ride it or could Trump swing by and get some makeover tips for the White House?

They're not fond of airplane peanuts, either.
