I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer but can anybody (Yank?) explain why all of these Trump folk "forgot" their meetings with Russians? Even if they initially either forgot or thought they were "nothing burgers" (as I duck from a pie) wouldn't the Flynn episode lead to full disclosure if the was nothing nefarious going on? What am I missing?

So we've gone from wondering "did Flynn meet with the Russians"? to now Trump Jr. being "lauded" for releasing emails that confirm that he did meet with the Russians?
