Which is all quite shitty and the company is certainly the bad guy in that case, but the employee could avoid such trouble by not using an illegal drug.

What if said employee visited Colorado?

    Asking for a friend.

In the case of MLBers, I'm guessing the no-drugs portion of their contract supercedes visiting a state where marijuana is legal.

And @DW, if you go to a concert in Colorado or Washington state, you're getting high whether you smoke pot or not.

Then that might be a fun lawsuit.

Never has a guy appeared to have "cocaine eyes" in ANY picture as much as Ron Washington has.

    Smiling. Mellow. Expressive. Doesn't matter.

In each one, he looks like he just did lines off a stripper's tits.

Even in places such as Colorado and now California, employers can still maintain a zero-tolerance for positive marijuana tests.
    It is still federally illegal.

As for baseball players using cocaine - I've always assumed that everyone who can afford to use cocaine does.
    Face it: it's awesome.

I may be of the age that wanted nothing to do with cocaine.

Len Bias, in my 11 year old mind, equates a snort with instant death. It's a mindset I still carry today.

JP Arencibia doesn't believe the numbers being spouted in that story. Side note: I know now why Arencibia wasn't an All-Star on the field.
