If you've ever watched the movie Soapdish, it's the Sally Fields move at the beginning.

From the Phoenix protests. Ouch. And the guy in the Kaep jersey is a nice touch.

This is how journalism is supposed to function.

I can appreciate how you may not like that.

This may be an opportunity to examine whether a journalism board is the best place for you to shake your fist at reasonable, everyday journalism.

He said DEEP-THINKERS, not deep-throaters. Back to your Studio 54 scrapbooks, buddy.

I think you've mistaken me for a man whose jokes have a larger point to make. Thoughts come to my mind that make me laugh. I share those thoughts.

Nah. He's not simply reporting the news.

He's creating a story where there wasn't one.

He's an activist, posing as a journalist.

The consequences are clear to these charities: cancel your event -- regardless the cost -- or be shamed in the pages of the Washington Post.

If people are pulling out of hosting an event at a property owned by the President because of negative public perception - that's a story. The same as if groups are holding events at Trump properties to curry favor with the administration. You don't get to ignore conflict of interest when its to your benefit and then complain about it when your actions have a negative impact.

It's only shame if you are embarrassed.

Didn't a bunch of these charities cancel Mar A Lago months ago for security reasons rather than political ones?
