Maybe she regards Blake Bortles as the sports equivalent of a faculty senate meeting. She's there because she has to be but isn't about to devote all of her brainpower to it.

I'd say Bortles as an NFL qb is more like the L. Ron Hubbard of religions.

 

Blake Bortles is far, far, far more important than any such. And I'm not sure, even after being told who/what he is (pace @Songbird) that he actually exists.

 

I wonder if Bortles could finish one of @doctorquant's tests in 90 minutes.

Yeah, that doesn't seem very much like, I "can't muster enough professionalism to actually do (my) fucking job" to me, but nonetheless some very telling paraphrasing. But I can see why a white, middle-aged, middle-class guy from Texas with a libertarian bent might not have the capacity to empathize with her.
