She may be amazing at her job.

But Jeff Pearlman didn't write that. Jeff Pearlman wrote that she was once "one of the best columnists in the country."

Disagreeing with that was, apparently, a bridge too far for many here, including one who continued to show his tremendous personal growth by dropping a, "I'm covering a big-time event and you're not" bomb.

People who work in sports should know who Blake Bortles is.

It's just as unintelligible as what he said on the field.

"Historical head coaches"? He knows there have been black coaches before, right?

Do none of these people know how nice Jemele is, and they are making the mistake of only judging her by her public statements and demeanor?

    Sons of bitches.

Is covering a big-time event supposed to be the "most-awesomest thing ever"? What's the deal with that level of discourse?

I haven't worked in sports in more than four years. Barely watch the NFL. Is he a household name? A star?

Personally, I do not care what Hill makes at ESPN. I am generally pro-business but I am also very much pro-talented person.

Jemele clearly has a hook in something and is maximizing it.

This is not her last big check. She will have one more big paycheck in the business. Bigger than ESPN. Than after that, the business will move on to the next flavor.
