If you go back to the initial discussion here when Kaepernick's protest broke, I thought it was a squandered opportunity because the guy with the courage of his supposed convictions did not convincingly articulate any convictions.

But a discussion about whether Collin Kaepernick "likes America" is in the, "Is Joe Flacco an elite quarterback?" and, "Is Taylor Swift a goopleplonpim?" category.

It depends how you define "goopleplonpim," and that is exceedingly uninteresting to me.

 

These people must be heard. They went without a voice too long during the Obummer years.

I think it's worth noting all this hubbub this weekend happened as Little Rock was commemorating the 60th anniversary of the desegregation of Central High.

 

You'd think a fire chief wouldn't be feeling economic anxiety like that.
