Things that make you feel old

Thinking about how many "What should I wear to cover a football game" threads have been started over the years.

 

Better just to shave that fucker off, hipster.

 

One of my son's friends announced his engagement yesterday. Every time I hear or see his name I picture a hyperactive 6-year-old Cub Scout.

 

One son says to the other, "IDubbz made a diss video for Jake Paul." This is a really, really big deal on the Internet.

 

Is that English?

 

I've heard so much about the whole thing in the last couple of weeks that curiosity finally led me to read up on what was going on. After five minutes of reading, I was left with a thorough mixture of confusion and boredom. I'll never know anything about this. And I'm OK with that.

 

An SJ "diss video" thread could be epic.

 

Our son had his senior pictures done last week.

 

This makes me feel older than anything I've ever read here. I remember when Chef Jr. was an impressionable pre-schooler who had to be shielded from Dad's mangled toe.

When I explain to kids what CDs are and I get "that" look. lol Must be how I looked like when people talked about vinyl records to me!
