There’s a clear distinction between “embryo” and “fetus.” They’re different developmental stages.

 

Well, I'm sure the preferred form would be "five week old unborn baby".

 

And there’s nothing in the meaning of either term that would preclude that.

 

Seven words Trump should be prohibited from saying/tweeting: crooked, fake, Hillary, collusion, failing, rigged, Obama

 

The people trying to compromise what the CDC is trying to do are in the White House. The republican Congress will whack CDC's budget by 17 percent. Again, I thought Dear Leader Trump was the voice for the voiceless, who tend to be less healthy than others.

 

The Area 51 Lobby must have gotten to him.

 

But he invented all those words.

 

"Does not seem to" is a good way of putting it. We just don't know, hence my conjecture. Having just been on the edges of government budgeting processes, I can see how someone might think, "The last thing I want is [Insert Shrieking Media Person] ranting about how the CDC is off doing social justice. So, even though your science is fine, because we want this funded don't use these words."

You'd be amazed -- maybe you wouldn't, but I was when I first encountered it -- how much fudging there can be in such processes.
