Do reporters not even bother to ask basic questions anymore?

Your fiance is about to be deported. Are you a U.S. citizen? If so, why not take care of the visa problem with a K-1 and then get married? He overstayed his visa for two years and already has been stopped twice for driving without a valid license. What exactly did you perceive to be the end game from all this as the years went on?

If there is a great answer to the questions, cool. But ask them, for crying out loud.

 

And yes by all means ask ICE why they are expending resources on low hanging fruit. There are MS-13 criminals in Md and Va suburbs stabbing and decapitating rivals and ritually gang raping young girls. And trumps storm troopers are no where to be seen. But let’s go after normal people who may not be the brightest but are earnest.

Why? Because at heart trump and his appointees and their supporters are just lazy. It takes effort and long work to go after real bad hombres. But it’s easy to stand in hospitals and school and look for brown skinned people with an accent.
