They are talk show and reality lawyers, not real litigators or real lawyers. diGenova andToensing own a small law/lobbying firm with a total of 4 lawyers including Toensing’s son. It’s doubtful that at this stage Joe and Victoria are reasearching and writing their own briefs and motions and they lack the staff for developing novel and challenging arguments. It’s strictly lobbying and posturing. And lobbying is taking the regulations written by the in-house lawyers of corporations and trade associations and using their political connections to get them proposed.

If Hannity had real legal issues he could afford Covington andBurling, Hogan Lovells or Jones Day, or some firm like that in DC. In New York Cravath, Swain or Skadden Arps, Aiken Gump ...There are great firms, not Michael Cohen and Joe and Vicki. And if you have deep pockets and a lot to lose, you want a large firm that can paper the other side to death with the ability to be in the DC Circuit, 4th Circuit and 2nd Circuit at the same time.

That Hannity went to a notorious bagman for Russian oligarchs their money launderer, Trump as well as going to 2 has-been old Reaganites shows that Hannity is either ignorant or needs political discretion to make payoffs. Or Both.

 

Like he gives a shit about anyone else. Seriously, trump is all about:
envy, gluttony, avarice, lust, pride, sloth, and wrath. That’s it. That’s the list of the trump personality.

 

I am sure Hannity employs competent counsel for his actual legal affairs. This is just another pass-along chain in the wing nut welfare racket.
