My brother got YouTube Red for one month and I borrowed his login.

 

I think they screwed up by not having some other intriguing shows ready to go. A lot of people are going to watch this and never pay a dime.

I'm also not wild about the Kreese thing at the end because it makes it tougher to just ignore the ridiculousness that was Karate Kid 3.

 

God, I hated that movie. He doesn't even get the girl in the end, and you have this multimillionaire businessman putting it all aside to get some dumb revenge on a 19-year-old kid.

 

Because getting second place in a local youth karate tournament somehow ruined his friend's life. It's crazy. Bill Simmons' piece on this topic is the best thing he's ever written.

 

Yeah, I remember reading it. It was great.

It wasn't even finishing second place. It was Kreese bringing it upon himself by choking out Johnny and backhanding another kid.

Kreese is lucky he didn't get arrested for child abuse.

What's funny is that toward the end of Cobra Kai, Johnny roughly alludes to the themes in this one.
