    Not saying it's right or wrong.

    But the people who say these things have only the US as a point of reference. Yes, it's what we've been taught to believe. It's what a lot of countries are taught to believe. They can't all be correct.

    I'm not trying to be US-concentric; its evidenced by, relative to the other systems around, the stability of our financial markets, the courts system we have, and, until recently, our political system.

    But, it's literally a legal/constitutional question, not an emotional one that we would turn to @Smallpotatoes for an answer.

    They asked a guy who's argued in front of the Supreme Court on a number of occasions. Don't you want his informed legal opinion? And, if he doesn't have one, isn't that the best answer?

    Who’s hurt worse? EU if trump bans Mercedes. Or the US if they ban Ford and GM.

    I particularly love your use of the Washington Examiner, a conservative news outlet, writing a piece based on paranoia among folks on the right about what President Obama might do before leaving office to somehow justify something.
