The Iranians were required to export 98% of their enriched uranium, put 13,400 centrifuges in storage, reduce their inventory of heavy water to 130 tons and and remove the core of the Aruk reactor, all to be confirmed by the IAEA. The United States and five allies agreed to buy the unused heavy water off the Iranians. The United States appears to have paid about 8.6 million dollars for this water. I do not understand the reference to shits and giggles. These appear to be substantive accomplishments.

I believe that the reference you make to billions of dollars is that when the IEAA certified Iranian compliance the Iranians were allowed to get access to tens of billions dollars of money frozen in overseas banking accounts.

While I think the meeting between Trump and the North Koreans was perhaps a positive step forward because it could lead to great things and their is no real downside I do not understand the reference to shits and giggles by the Obama administration. Those were substantive accomplishments. If Trump had come home with most of the North Korean enriched uranium in tow I bet you would want to award him the Nobel Prize.
