Since he was a high schooler, Cotton has been plotting to be POTUS. Nothing will stop him.

 

I also think the question they asked wasn't particularly illuminating. I'm amazed it's only 66 percent opposition to separating families. That's like asking if you support mom and apple pie. I'd guess the 27 percent mostly don't have a clue on the background, but are going along because they support Trump.

Now if you ask how many people:
- Support passing a law to allow detaining kids with parents longer than 20 days, then keeping them together as a family in detention centers while the parents go through the process
- Support releasing the entire family and hoping they show up for the trial

You'd get very different - and much more meaningful - responses than when you ask "Do you support or oppose separating families?"
