Everybody said I couldn't break the record. But I did, didn't I folks? I shattered it. Like crooked Hillary's dream of being president, it is shattered. Speaking of records you know what is a good one? Toto IV. My favorite song on it is about where Barack Obama was born.

Dale is a terrific reporter doing a fantastic job...but I wish The Star covered its own country's leader like it covers Trump

Crowley’s loss is the signpost of the hard left turn to come. He lost to a rookie millennial socialist.

The hard left turn is coming.

He's an Irish pol in a district that he's held for twenty years. He probably didn't take her seriously, at least early on. He didn't show up for a debate with her, and sent a surrogate instead. The district is now 78% Puerto Rican. That and taking the voters for granted cost him.

Add in that no one knew Trump was going to blow up deportation like he did, and that she threw in anti-ICE.

I hope that there are not too many Blue Wave candidates out on the fringe. We need Democratic wins.

The biggest problem with the Dems is selling the same politicians they've had for the last 20 years. It's hard to believe the party is "different" when it looks pretty much the same, only older than the last time we held an election.

Might be, and I'm far from certain that's a good thing. OTOH, the rabid right wing of the GOP has been very bad for the country, other than their donor class.
