Trump has no ability to act subtly, but like Obama, this is his bottom line:

In all seriousness, do you not find it unsettling that he unabashedly shits on our allies and nuzzles up to Russia?

Russia and Putin are always so misunderstood. You have your head farther up your ass with Putin than Yankeefan does with Trump.

There was also no government sponsored doping either. Everybody is a liar but Putin.

The corrupt businessmen are the ones doing the killings, man. It just happens to hugely benefit Putin when they die.

Jesus, you guys. Quit banging your head against the wall.

Remember when Trump said he could stand in the middle of 5th avenue and shoot someone, and not lose voters?

That fucking dope who you guys are expecting to post something negative here is exactly who he was talking about.

How does it "benefit" him? Were the reporters going to "expose" something that (gasp!) might lead to an impeachment? Now who's being stupid?

How do headlines in western media shouting "Putin critic murdered!" help him in his geopolitical negotiations with other nations?

How does it help him land events that put his nation on the world stage such as the Olympics and the World Cup?

Some three dozen people have been arrested in connection with the murders of journalists since the breakup of the Soviet Union. About half have been convicted and imprisoned.

How do you reconcile that with these being "state-sanctioned murders"? People kill journalists on command from the Kremlin, knowing they may be imprisoned for it?

Does that make a lick of sense to you? Do you have ANY explanation for that?

Earlier today somebody linked a story of an interview with the editor-in-chief of the Moscow Times, a "paper well-known for its criticisms of Russian President Vladimir Putin."

Why hasn't anybody at this newspaper been killed?

    And by the way . . .

Americans have long had a burr up their ass about the Russians and Communism and all that jazz.

But one striking difference is that throughout the Cold War, the Soviet leaders were never demonized in America. America may have hated the ideology, but Khrushchev and Brezhnev and Andropov (former head of the KGB, for crying out loud!!!) were never called thugs and murderers. How come? Why Putin and Putin only?
