It's amazing how often the people who say "You just won't connect with me because of my politics" are also giant assholes in other ways.

It’s just amazing that his ego is so fragile that he has to have the rallies, either under the guise of a 2020 bid or in “support” of other candidates (whose major selling point is that they like him).

Interesting journalism question: how do we solve the problem of this lügenpresse campaign he's running?

I really think the simple thing is to keep telling the truth. And for goodness sake talk about more than Cohen, Rudy, Mueller, and the media issues. So much more news out there, so much more he is doing. Stop taking one issue and doing it to death.
More stories, environment, separated families, judges, scotus, etc. all need more attention. Less discussion (and debate over the truthfulness of a fact) , more news. (all day networks, cnn, etc).
The one positive I see is that they are telling the truth bout his lying. They were hesitant at first to say "the potus lied". They seem to have gotten over that and mention it when appropriate (every time he opens his disgusting anus mouth)
Head down, keep telling the truth about the many, many issues out there.

You can play the "both sides are bad" card and there are a certain percentage of idiots and objectionable behavior across the board. There is nothing similar on one side to the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES directing unrelenting attacks and provocations against an independent media.

The press needs to be firmer and more aggressive in catching lies told by huckster and trump, but not by calling them lies all the time. The President Mistakenly Reports National Debt

They lie all the time. They lie about everything. And the assclowns whomdefend and support them don’t care because it upsets the media more than it does meth/incest land

Reframe it as the they are wrong, they are mistaken, and reveal the true answer rather than the false answer.

When trump, says that the deficit under Obama was the greatest in history, it’s an obvious lie made to pander to the slack jawed base. So instead of saying the president today lied about what the deficit it, the media needs to say The deficit today is the largest in history as the president of the United States talked about today. Though Mr. Trump mistakenly stated that it was larger in the past, the Treasury Department records confirm that the deficit under the current administration is the highest it’s ever been.

Don’t make the story about lying, make the story about correcting the misinformation. Rather than portray trump as a liar who manipulates the press, portray him as an incompetent boob who can’t get the simplest fact correct

Also, the media needs to give trump credit when it’s due. As in:
During a 20 minute address to a half filled auditorium at the Idaho state fair, President Trump spoke 3 clear sentences.

They need to cover this administration like it's a foreign regime.
As pathetic as it sounds it's the only right strategy to take at this point.

Refuting easily refutable lies isn’t the issue when 85 percent of Republicans believe every damn-fool word Trump says and only 11 percent trust the media more.
