Anybody who works for a defense contractor needs a security clearance. Edward Snowden has one. There are different levels, so I'm not sure what the current "revocation" entails, but if you look on job boards, you'll see a lot of listings that require applicants to have a certain level of clearance.

I suspected it, but until I saw all the topics bumped, I did not grasp the depth of this board's obsession with Lena Dunham.

Daemon, I just think of it as a job being complete. I have a friend who was top secret in the Navy whose approach to it was the same.
They handed in their ID card as Comey said, and even if they wanted to go to the morning briefing they wouldn't be invited anyway.
