Once again you're quibbling about the marginalia while avoiding the primary issue.

He admitted in open court that he conspired with a "candidate" to illegally spend $$ to influence the election.

Good point. I’m all for smart, humane immigration law that stops line cutters and protects our citizens. We have a president who should be able to get something done, since his party controls Congress. He has not, because his ideas are silly and cruel. The cult doesn’t see the opportunity cost of the current mess created by an overmatched racist.

There are plenty of explanations out there written by specialists in campaign finance law. I suggest you Google them.

The idea a judge would allow somebody to plead guilty for something that is not illegal is hilarious. Can I plead guilty to drinking iced tea tonight?

My point was that they compete with wired providers—and will do so to greater extent in future—so the monopolies/duopolies will have less power in future.

Yeah, it's Slate. I think that the facts stand, though - the charges that he got a mistrial on could be retried in state courts that Trump cannot pardon. He's also subject to being charged with state tax fraud in four states, because if you file a fraudulent federal tax form you pretty much have to file an identical state form, and again, state tax fraud is not something that Trump can pardon.

I don't think Manafort beats tax evasion in NY or Northern Virginia.

A Lone Holdout Juror Actually Made It More Likely Manafort Will Go to Jail Even if Trump Pardons Him
