And today, a crisis happens and the press is told he's dealing with it, only, in reality, he's holding a political rally, playing golf at one of his courses or Tweeting crazy bullshit about how many followers he has.

 

Today's Republicans would also be screeching about how big of a wuss the President was for letting the sniffles cut short his trip. They would say he lacked stamina.

Guy with Trump stickers all over van is only second to guy who has NRA slogans written with soap on his windows of his 1978 Chevy Suburban on the ranking of vehicles I keep the most distance away on the highway and in a parking lot.

 

No...I am saying what I wrote. Namely, that East Coast media has a habit of expressing confidence, snark and certitude about matters that only tangentially effect - if they effect them at all - because it falls under the heading of "national policy."

It is not unlike Donald Trump thinking he knows all things because he grew up in NYC and watches cable news.

 

The Trumpists sure have been quiet around here lately. But if their klan manages to cheat into holding the House — possible given the various measures in place — they’ll be back.
