    She's clearly making a sarcastic comment, based on an old racist trope, about Kara Swisher's Holder/Booker confusion. Gets a big laugh doing so. Not sure how obtuse you'd have to be to present it otherwise. Maybe Matt Batzel knows. The "story" certainly has made the rounds of the incredibly trustworthy right wing "press."

    I can't stand that woman. I think she is corrupt, disingenuous, entitled and a full-of-shit hyena.

    But that remark? It is about the most human moment I have seen from her in some time. She made a joke. Christ. People need to get back to being human and stop with the equivalencies in an attempt to make everything tribal. Context matters.

    This move to ignore context and paint things with ridiculous brushes leads to whataboutism and "both sides" equivalencies. Let's look at people individually. Not in terms of the tribe they have planted themselves with. Not in terms of what someone else from that tribe may have said or done. People need to be responsible for their own behavior. That includes intent and context, obviously. It's what makes Donald Trump a raging asshole beyond asshole norms, who has turned the presidency into the biggest joke it has been in our history. It's also what makes an obvious, "they all look alike" comment from her, said clearly in jest about people she knows well, into a "ha ha" moment. ... not into an equivalency.

    The fact that we need to even have that discussion is an example of the damage the shithead in the oval office has done to the level of public discourse in this country.

    Likewise funny and illustrative that two years into the Trump presidency all the derpists and deadenders can talk about is a woman who holds no public office.

    But I suppose anything is better than discussing his actual conduct as president.
