I was thinking specifically in regard to election results.

Even in 2000, in Florida, there was a certain half-assed decorum to what was or wasn't said or alleged.

Now it's an all-caps FRAUD! delivered by the president.

Folks are probably right to be worried about 2020.

 

The thing is, Trump would argue that screaming fraud without any proof is part of his alleged deal making skills. That he moves the goalposts on what is considered to be proper behavior in order to benefit himself.

He doesn’t give a shit about institutions or norms as he sees life as a zero sum game. And he couldn’t care less about what happens tomorrow or certainly after he leaves office and he dies. All he wants is some instant gratification

 

Back 15 years ago or so, right-wingers (both on and off Fox News) vociferously defended George W. Bush. He's barely mentioned now and even more rarely praised. Will that happen with Trump?

 

One big reason McSally might not follow Trump's lead here is that she's thinking, "you're the reason I'm losing, you fuck."
