My point was more about age than party or even politics. As you say, it's a long game, and the younger people have more time. Old people die. That's a fact. Both parties lose numbers in their entrenched leadership and bases every day. They have to be replaced by younger people. I think younger people, say 18-29, are becoming more politically active and vocal than your 30-40 year-olds. They see the writing on the wall that people who have 10-15 years left are making drastic decisions that will affect them for the next four or five decades. They want a say.

I don't think O-C's politics will hold up nationwide. She may very well be one and done. Someone else will step in, someone hopefully a little more to the center. Hatch and Grassley can't be replaced by their own. They are fossils in more way than one.

I agree that radical outliers will have a tough time overall. That's what scares me about 2020. The Democrats have to nominate someone who is electable, even if they aren't the prime person for the job. Booker and Harris aren't it.

Why are mainstream Democrats Booker and Harris not electable? We all know the answer, I want to see you name it plain.

    I completely disagree with this.
Every legitimate criticism should be raised, discussed, analyzed, critiqued, and filleted.

You let any legit criticisms slide, and it emboldens magas. To the point that maga troll twats on this board, while completely supporting the current president, will criticize a poster for using quotes around the word "wife" while discussing whatever sham marriage that idiot is engaged in.

Because one is gay, and the other is half Indian?

It can't be because they're black, since we've already shown that we are willing to elect an African-American.

LOL. Are the Clinton's engaged in some kind of "sham marriage"?

Should we refer to Hillary as Bill's 'wife' from now on?

Sure, but why would you be bringing her up? She's not relevant to politics in 2018.

I could not give less of a shit how you address Hillary and Bill.

This is one of the reasons you are a fucking weirdo. Jesus, dude. You got some bizarre fucking proclivities.

YF mentions the Clintons for no reason. The fear is strong in him.

Must be a diversionary tactic so we don't notice the dips.

Middle America won't vote for a perceived antagonistic African American from either coast. We just saw in the last election that someone middle America won't vote for can win both coasts and still lose the election. It takes 270 win. You can't get that from a couple of states. Obama wasn't from either coast and wasn't seen as antagonistic by enough people from across the country to win. A black guy can win. I just don't think either one of those can.

You say you want to hear me name it as if it's some sort of gotcha thing. OK. I did. Just because I am able and willing to point out what I believe to be a truth doesn't mean I share any sort of hostility. I never said they were bad people. I just said they aren't electable. Neither was Hillary. I don't think Bernie or Warren are either.

Absolutely. We need to cull the fringes from both ends and get back to a group of people willing to work together for the betterment of all.
