And the No. 8 seeds have gotten beat by an average of 16 points, although the Syracuse-Baylor game was close for a long time.

What city in South Carolina is Wofford located?

Chuck - it don’t matter. It’s all the same. It’s South Carolina.

South Carolina - to small to be a state; to big to be an asylum.

The only thing worse than being upset in the first round is knowing your plane home isn't until Sunday or Monday and you have two more days in any of these first round cities. Even the regional sites are drab - but you do have Disneyland and DC, so there is that. And then if you win there - you get the twin cities. Not exactly a mini-vacation.

a pretty chalky 1st round. The upsets are not that shocking. 15 of the top 16 seeds won

Yeah, the biggest upsets were UC Irvine and Liberty, and a lot of people called both of them. Ohio State beating Iowa State was surprising, just because it seemed like Ohio State sneaked in, but it was still one power conference team playing another. Same with Oregon over Wisconsin. The 8-9 and 10-7 games are toss ups and don't qualify as upsets.
The most shocking game of the day might have been Oklahoma kicking the shit out of Ole Miss. That seemed like a toss up game.

I'm like you on OU. Not surprised they won, but shocked how they just beat the shit out of Ole Miss from jump Street.

I envision Auburn getting up 15+ on the BBOC, then Pearl suddenly realizing this and pissing it all away.......because he's Bruce Pearl.
