    Why? Are there asylum seekers crashing in your garage? Why not simply improve the processing of asylum claims? Is this problem really so severe we must become a rogue state to deal with it?

    The Assange thing cracks me, if only because Ecuador's president tweeted they were kicking him because of “his repeated violations to international conventions and daily-life protocols.”

    Imagine you're facing arrest. Aren't you going to be the best damn guest possible in your safe house? I'd be volunteering to vacuum rugs, do dishes - whatever they wanted - to stay on their good side.

    He wasn't booted because he was a bad houseguest

    He was booted because the politics changed. Assange was just a pawn to them, in a game. Ecuador has a different president, trying to crawl out of the shadow of his predecessor, and trying to reverse its formerly hostile stance toward the U.S.

    yeah but do we even need those positions you were fine with czars before but now russia is teh bad guyz so you want secretaries all of a sudden make up your mind flip flopper these colors don't run
